STROKE

In September 2005 I had a hemorrhage stroke that put the right side of my body in paralysis. It was my early forties and two months before the ARTV Awards in Las Vegas. I was discharged from the hospital six-weeks later with only a week and half to prepare for the awards in Las Vegas.
Do not let the way a person look deceive you,
things are not as they appear.
Learn about my struggle and the light at the end of the tunnel. And as I work my body by (therapy) exercising to regain it's strength, flow and motion. And only faith keeps me going. More details coming soon...............
The paintings I do now (For Now) are more personal and unique because they were created mostly with only one hand. Not only that, but 90% of it was predominately created by twisting, turning, manipulating the canvas and paint with hardly no brush strokes.
I say for now (For Now) because it's my goal to
continue to improve within my entire body and likewise with my art.

Hope I
The paintings entitled "Hope I, II, III were the first completed paintings I made since
the stroke. The colors in this series were intentional. Green represents life in spite of
red bringing near death. Orange and yellow represents the sun inflamed with energy giving
hope and strength.
